Healthcare Workers Receive More PPEs

200 gears donated by local company
Bahamas Striping Group of Companies donated protective gear for healthcare workers who are on the frontline of the fight against COVID19.
The local company presented Prime Minister Hubert Minnis with the donation on Wednesday.
The donated equipment includes 200 protective suits, 8,000 medical gloves, 2,000 protective face shields, 10,000 surgical face masks and 5,000 KN95 protective face masks.
Managing Director Allen Albury said, “As proud Bahamians, we stand alongside the government and we applaud the gallant efforts, foresight of the government, our hardworking medical practitioners, and every Bahamian whose sacrifice will allow us to win this battle.”
President Atario Mitchell Executive Chairman Dominic Sturrup were also present during the presentation.
Dr. Minnis expressed gratitude for the donated PPE’s.
“Thank you for this generous donation of Personal Protective Equipment. “This will help to protect our health care workers who are fighting COVID19 in our hospitals, clinics and health care facilities throughout the Bahamas.”
