Police are still investigating a motive for the killings and are uncertain on whether the two incidents are connected

Police have identified the two latest victims of murder in two separate incidents in Nassau.

The Pinewood Gardens murder victim is Renaldo Nairn, believed to be in his 30’s and the father of three girls.

Reports are that shortly after 2 p.m. on Thursday, a triple shooting occurred on Rosewood Street, Pinewood Gardens, where one man died on the scene.

Assistant Superintendent of Police Audley Peters said a group of men were outside a home when a black car drove by and circled around, after which an occupant opened the car door and discharged a firearm in the direction of the persons gathered.

The murder incident prior to the Pinewood Gardens incidents occurred in the area of Seabreeze, where 26-year-old Leslie Darville succumbed to injuries from gunshot wounds.

Police say Darville, though not officially identified, came outside of his home to talk with individuals in a white vehicle, Chief Superintendent Shanta Knowles said.

During the conversation, the passenger from that vehicle came out and shot him before getting back in and speeding away.

The man was taken to hospital but succumbed to his injuries a short time later.

These two recent killings bring the total murder count to thirty-seven for the year.
