COVID-19 Cases Now 73

Ministry of Health confirms 1 more case

The Ministry of Health confirmed on Friday that there is 1 additional confirmed case of COVID-19.

The newly confirmed case is Case #73 a 33 year old female resident of New Providence with no history of travel. This case was hospitalized, but is now in isolation at home.

This brings the total number of confirmed cases to 73.

There have been 7 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Grand Bahama, 62 confirmed cases in New Providence, 1 confirmed case in Cat Cay, and 3 confirmed cases on the island of Bimini.

This new case comes after health officials confirmed on Thursday, two other positive cases with no history of travel.

Officials also revealed the death of two COVID19 victims bringing the total number of COVID19 deaths to 11.

15 people have recovered from the virus.
