Bahamians Disobey Social Distancing Order
Royal Bahamas Police Force reminds people to adhere to emergency order to prevent spread of the virus
The Royal Bahamas Police Force is encouraging people to adhere to the emergency order declared by Prime Minister Hubert Minnis.
Pictures circulate on social media showing persons gathered on beaches and not practicing social distancing as outlined in the order.
The police force says it has been made aware of such images with Bahamians on beaches and in bar rooms in Nassau.
But the policing organization says the public should adhere to all of the necessary precautions and practice social distancing of 3 to 6 feet to prevent the spread of COVID19, as such gatherings can cause exposure to the deadly virus.
