Aunt of Missing 15-Year-Old Wants the Court to Deal With Him

Police today, confirmed that missing 15-year old Miller Georges was found and reunited with his family.

The aunt and guardian of Miller is happy about his return home, one day after expressing anger and worry, since the boy left home to purchase an item from the corner grocery store, more than a week ago.

Janette Augustine said she believed the boy ran away from home.

“Send him to court. Put him back where he comes from,” she said.

“I can’t hurt myself anymore. I’m old.”

Miller was a student at S.C McPherson Junior High School and was transferred to the Boys Industrial School for behavioral reasons.

Augustine explained that she took Miller under her care after his mother was deported to Haiti, and ever since, she has had to deal with Miller’s behavioral challenges.

Wiping tears from her eyes, Jannette Augustine told CSJ Report, she did not sleep since he went missing.

She said Miller asked for money to go to a convenient store on the corner of Lazaretto Road, off Carmichael Road, and left the house after 9 pm, but never returned.

This comes after the discovery of the body of 17-year-old Lavard Mckenzie, who too went missing last week Thursday, but was found in bushes off Carmichael. Police say they are questioning suspects in regard to that matter.
