Man Cuts Off Ankle Bracelet After Killing Mother and Son

Police are looking for a man who managed to cut off his electronic monitoring bracelet after killing a mother and son on Sutton St, Kemp Road on Friday morning.

Keiron Brown shot the mother and son in the vicinity of a residence as the two were engaged in a conversation. Police believed the mother and son had an argument with Brown earlier in the morning before he returned shortly after 10 am firing gunshots at the two relatives, police said.

The son in his 30s died on the scene and the mother in her 50s was carried by private vehicle to the hospital where she died.

Brown whose address is unknown, was on bail for a previous murder and was being monitored by the ankle bracelet. At last indication, he was in the area of Eastern New Providence before he removed the ankle bracelet.

Police are appealing to the public to help locate Brown.

Young Man Shot and Killed at House off Kemp Road; Police investigate

A shooting in Coopers Terrace, off Kemp Road has left a young man dead after witnesses reported that nearly 30 shots were fired from an AK-47 rifle at the victim.

The victim has been identified by friends as Alfred Bastian, aka Shotman.
