A Good Samaritan is being praised for her decision to return a lost bank card and $100 note found at an ATM.

Teresine Minnis took to social media showcasing the Scotia bank card and a $100 bill belonging to Rashad Roberts, hoping to find the rightful owner.

“If you or anyone know this person, please ask him to visit customer service at Scotiabank Thompson Blvd. I left it there today,” Minnis said in a Facebook post.

Social media users praised her act of kindness and described Minnis as an example of “how we should all conduct ourselves with integrity and honesty.”

Kambrel Wilson said, “I commend you for being honest and upstanding. We need more of this around here.”

“Well done for living by the Golden Rule,” Reveda Rolle added.

Delores Pinder said it was “heartwarming to see that people still care.”

“This is what our world needs,” Scott Saunders echoed.

Minnis later updated that Roberts was located and had received the lost items.
