She arrived from Chicago, Illinois to attend a yoga retreat at the Sivananda Ashram Yoga Retreat Center, but there is no record of her, baffling family members and friends. According to sources, her cellphone pinged on a beach and her friend Sara confirmed that the cell phone was found, but there was no sight of Casey. As Bahamas police continue to investigate her disappearance while issuing a missing person bulletin, friends from the transgender community in the US are coordinating a search effort in the Bahamas and reaching out to Bahamians to help locate missing Casey. Loved ones are hoping to gather support from all of her friends since she has a “big footprint” in the trans community in Chicago.
